Who Wants to be a Barbie Doll Now?

If Barbie were a real woman, her proportions would translate to about 5'9" in height with a 39-inch bust, an 18-inch waist, 33-inch hips, and a size-3 shoe. Her waist would be so small that it would be impossible for her internal organs to fit normally, highlighting how unrealistic and unlivable these measurements would be.

She wouldn’t be able to menstruate. If she were a real woman, her proportions would force her to walk on all fours; her feet are so disproportionately small and her chest so large that it would pull her forward onto her hands and toes.

Because Barbie’s neck is about twice the length of an average human’s, she wouldn’t be able to support her own head. Her brain would also be only about one-third the size of that of a healthy adult woman.

Who would want to be a Barbie doll now? Thanks, but no thanks — I’d much rather stay exactly who I am.
